6:48pm: so last night i went to prom. i wish i could have gone to see blonde redhead too but it was still fun. we all went to cookout before prom then went to prom which was fun but kinda boring. we found out that our friend, conrad, got in a car accident on the way back from modest mouse on friday because he was drunk and driving like 70 miles over the speed limit. hes in critical condition and it was such a downer because anna, nick and i are in women's caucus with him. some kid had a couple beers so i had one.

in civics we had to watch this video called "the u.s. congress and you". it was a typical badly acted/written propaganda education video but had these amazing little parts. i would have posted it on here but i couldn't find any clips on the internet. the parts that made me love love it over any other shitty video were:

"he's the guy on tv. face the nation. hes so smart and knows everything. my dad talks about him all the time. he would know a lot about the congress"

i love how the writers slipped in pro-bob schieffer dialogue and how bob schieffer had a random teenage boy's cellphone number and knew exactly when to call it. it makes me both uneasy and jealous.

the other funny part that no one else but me in the class got:
"did you know only 8 percent of bills become laws?"
"no thats crazy!"
"well i guess it makes sense. somethings may seem like a good idea at the time but later on you realize it wasn't worth it...like tiffany"

both of those made me crack up because i'm a nerd like that.
if i ever find a clip i'll post it, though i'm probably the only person who found it amusing and worthy to be posted on lj.

brie gave me a rose and a bunch of people gave me candy, including my parents. sam gave me some weed and my aunt got me 108 ways to transform a tshirt. so todays been pretty good. i had to write an essay on the definition of 'duty' i thought i was the only one giggling but in 7th period my teacher was like 'this morning i had to tell 25 10th graders to write about the definition of duty-twice and it was so hard not cracking up'
so my plans tonight?
most likely nothing. i might go out with kelsey or dave but i doubt it.

8:29pm: yesterday i went to the free market. i got a lot of cool shit including a tsunami bomb cd, josie and the pussycats dvd, a pair of boots, and a shirt that says 'im so la' afterwards me jessie steph erin and david danced in a parking lot then went to stephs house and watched better than chocolate.

4:32pm: i pretty much fail when it comes to girls
we had a fire drill today and i saw melissa so i started talking to her. i was hitting on her and shit and she wasn't really flirting with me back so i felt like i was doing something wrong. i asked erin and dave about it later and they said she has a girlfriend. why did no one tell me? im such a total ass. and i need some ass.

10:41pm: went to jessies movie party last night. it was so fun, we watched movies and played guitar hero and cuddled with each other. avery apparently lives near jessie so we walked to her house and stood in front of it until she came home. we fell asleep at 5:30 watching snakes on a plane.

5:45pm: went to camera obscura last night with ryann and erin. it was pretty fun.
today i pierced lela's ears and she cut my hair and dyed the underparts. it looks pretty cool.

5:23pm: snowed today so we didn't have school. the snow melted by the afternoon though.
so i spent the day watching jon stewart try to seduce condoleeza rice emily, i think you will agree with me that russian history is pretty hot.
